Mortality

An allegory of loss (son), faith (brother), love (father), greed (devil), hope (angels) and so much more as each figure was created with intent. 

A fallen son protected by a father. A soul soon to part. A brother armed, not with a sword, yet with a knee and prayer. A dark winged figure hidden as a cloud circles above prepared to remove the life. Angels overseeing the transistion of life to afterlife. A sword of judgement lowered with hilt covered. 

Details of spectral life, angels, Devil, imps, grotesque, goblins...a devil awaits an opportunty to fight for the soul of this life lost to deliver through a passage for the damned and surrounded by flame. The onlookers of witness, spirits, imps, and others filled with the anticipation to lay claim; both good and evil. Living flowers around the fallen and decaying flowers where death awaits.

The final effort of protection delivered by a father who would defend a child striken down to young. Grief in mortailty is how love may overcome death.
