Why don’t we ever see kids at fashion shows? 
Is it because they’re the ones making the clothes? 

Fast fashion sweatshops hidden in plain sight.
Flimsy paper doll clothes to feed the appetite.
Work till your heavy eyes dim, only the strong survives.
It’s not linen you’re wearing out, but human creatures’ lives.

Kids swatching and mislabeling. 
An industry watching and enabling.
But they’re putting on a show, some fun to conceal.
Cheap, fast clothing, for a catwalk that costs a meal. 

Work, work, work.
Stitch, stitch, stitch.
Seam, and gusset, and band.
Till the heart is sick, and the brain benumbed, as well as the weary hand.
