Description:
The trickster is an archetypal harbinger of chaos. The trickster to me is a force that comes in and breaks everything up, upends expectations, dissolves structures and beliefs, and through chaos creates the possibility and space for 
change.

I made this piece in 2020, while I was finding most of my comfort in the nebulous movement of clouds and keeping my hands busy cutting paper. 

Trickster is a paper-cut, shot against a blue sky.

Bio: 
Mor is an artist rooted in paper-cutting. Using large-scale cuts-outs and installations to create an engagement between the viewer and the work, her practice explores creativity as a generative force within us all

Mor is a self taught Brooklyn native who spent her childhood in tandem between the city and the backwoods of Vermont. She lives and works in Queens, NYC.
