A black and white infrared thermal video clip from 'Padma Mudra/Unconditional Love' (WIP) an experimental short film featuring Cara Griffin, with music by Gavin Wilson. The Lotus Mudra hand position used in yogic breath and meditation practice connected with intention to focus the flow of energy, represents loving kindness and healing from emotional trauma, reminding us of the divine beauty and light within. I use infrared thermal imaging (IRT) to illustrate subtle, actual temperature changes in people and objects unseen by the human eye; so that one may sense the temporary coalescence of ancient stellar energy in the form of living beings. Shot with a heat sensitive hunting rifle scope, heat appears white and cooler areas are black, in real time.
